Notify guest via text message / SMS when their order is ready

Notify guest via text message / SMS when their order is ready

OrderCounter can now notify a guest via SMS text message when their order is ready. For this to work, there must be a phone number attached to the account and the location must have the proper software license for SMS texting.

To set this up for KDS text on bump, in the KDS settings select the checkbox for texting on bump and fill out what the message to the guest should say. The message can be different for each KDS screen.

To set this up for kitchen printing, use the "notify guest" button on the pending orders screen. The messages can be configured on the back office under "POS SMS/KDS messages"
.
