How to Add a Custom Modifier to an Order

Adding a custom modifier to an order allows you to adjust items based on specific customer requests, such as adding extra toppings, removing ingredients, or customizing the order to suit preferences.
Adding a Custom Modifier
  1. Enter an Order: Begin by adding the items that the customer has requested to a new or existing order. Make sure all the basic items are added first.
  2. Go to Order Functions: Once the items are added, press the Order Functions button located at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Choose the Item to Modify: Select the item from the list that you want to modify. For example, if a customer wants extra cheese on their burger, select the burger from the list.
  4. Select Custom Modifier: In the Order Functions menu, find and select the Custom Modifier option. This will allow you to add, remove, or adjust specific details for any item in the order.
  5. Enter Modifier Details: A new window will appear where you can enter the custom changes.
  6. Submit Modifier: Once all the modifications are entered, press the Submit Option button to save the changes. The updated item will be reflected in the order summary.
  7. Review the Order: Check the updated order to make sure all custom modifiers have been applied correctly.
